Research activityThrough the research and teaching activities of our chief physician, Dr. med. Martin Schencking, the largest scientific study worldwide has ' been initiated to investigate the effects of Kneipp's hydrotherapy (in the form of temperature-fluctuation affusions to the leg) on knee and hip joint arthrosis.
In further research groups under the supervision of Dr. Schencking current investigations are being carried out on the effect of vitamin C on neurotropic pain (e.g. shingles or neuropathic pain) as well as the effect of whole-body heat therapy (whole-body hyperthermia) on arthrosis-degenerated joints (shoulder, basal thumb, hip and knee joints).
We would be pleased to provide further information upon request (secretarial office of Dr. Schencking: 0049-171-8121516). |
